Our Story…
Gourmet Kitchens, Inc. (GKI) began in Chicago in 1989 as a corporate catering company founded by Lisa Johnson and her husband Farzad Shahsavarani.
In 2001, as the economy slowed down, the company decided it was time to diversify. Recognizing another void in the market—the company began producing fresh, ready-to-eat food products at economical prices for retailers.
Today, our chefs work diligently to produce quality foods with clean ingredients that retain their fresh taste as they travel from our kitchen to yours. We stand by the belief that we will never produce any food we wouldn’t be proud to serve our own friends and family.
